Apart from grants from programmes of the Leader type, finding other sources of finance became an important issue. Activities concentrating on tourism development were intensified and a Contract for the Provision of Services for the head office of CzechTourism was subsequently signed within the scope of destination management. Consultancy work and work on the preparation of specific projects aside from Leader has also become an important part of the work of Posázaví o.p.s. employees.

But it is not possible to be content with present successes alone, it is necessary to have a vision and look to the future. Updating development strategy for the region and improving partnerships thus became the most important activities in the region. Within these activities Posázaví o.p.s. became a partner in a project for the Central Bohemia District, aimed at partnership creation and increasing the absorbency of the area when completing development projects. Here the Local Action Group made it its aim to: expand the partnership concept among the widest possible spectrum of inhabitants in the region; to involve as many active people as possible in planning the region’s development; and to teach them that, should they have any requirements, they should know how to express them and subsequently take personal responsibility for what happens next in the region in the coming years. Community planning, which has become a source of information and a topic for involving the widest possible spectrum of participants, is also about this.
