Nature trails

The nature trail begins at the parking place at the foot of Velký Blaník over Louňovice pod Blaníkem, leading across the Velký Blaník mountain top to the parking place in Kondrace along  the red tourism mark. The trail is long 4 km and there are 14 educational stops and 17 playful stops for children.

The nature trail goes through the woods part of the nature-landscape park by the Konopiště chateau (national monument) not far from the town of Benešov. It acquaints with the time of Františka Ferdinand d’Este, the park’s history and contemporary situation, the wood in all his forms, hunting, wood management and various flora and fauna of the woods.

The trail goes through an extensive nature- landscape park in the surroundings of the Vlašim chateau. The first part nearby the chateau is more park –like with solid paths and benches, the more distanced puts emphasis on more natural environment. The Blanice river flowing through the park is an outstanding natural and aesthetic element.
